IMBA Spain is the Spanish chapter of the International Mountain Bike Association. IMBA Spain fights against the closure of trails, taking IMBA's experience in the international arena as a benchmark. IMBA was born in Spain with the same spirit that it did in California almost two decades ago. A group of mountain bikers, alarmed by the threat of trail closures that arises in the Sierra de Guadarrama and aware of other similar conflicts in the peninsula, decided to create IMBA Spain in order to defend sustainable cycling, representing the interests of mountain bikers before the administration, and advocate for understanding with other mountain user groups.
