We are happy to announce a new feature on Trail Care: the ability for trail organizations to collect one time donations that are not tied to any Strava activity. In fact, users do not even need to be registered on Trail Care: they can simply choose the amount they want to donate and press go: it’s fast, frictionless and re-uses the existing account setup of any trail organization so donations end up in the same place.

You will find the new form on a trail organization’s profile page for both registered and unregistered users. Additionally, organizations can link directly to the donation page with a pre-filled amount (example) to make it that much easier to link to donation pages with little friction.

We hope this gives organizations additional options for their fundraising activities.
